On Sunday, March 19, 2006, American Opera Projects in collaboration with Manhattan School of Music will present a workshop of Renée Favand’s Exiles as part of Opera Index’s New American Opera Previews hosted by Midge Woolsey of WQXR. Exiles was first developed by Ms. Favand during the 2003-04 season of AOP’s Composers & the Voice series.

Opera Index’s annual series has previously featured AOP presentations of Lost Childhood by Janice Hamer and Mary Azrael and Dream President by Jennifer Griffith.
