•  First Chance – December 4, 2002. Best Friends, music by Deborah Drattell, libretto by Wendy Wasserstein, conducted by Steven Osgood, directed by Leonard Foglia; Kaplan Penthouse, Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center, Plaza, NY.

•  Composers and the Voice, Resident Company – Reading #1 – January 13, 2003. South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn, 2:00 pm. Reading #2 – February 10, 2003, Reading #3—March 10, 2003, Reading #4 – April 14, 2003, Reading #5 May 2003, Reading #6 – June 2003.

•  Premiere – May 1-3, 2003, at 8 pm, May 4, 2003 at 2 pm. Marina: A Captive Spirit, Directed by Anne Bogart, with Lauren Flanigan, Rosalind Elias, Ellen Lauren and members of the SITI Company. DR2 Theater, 20 Union Square East.

•  First Chance – May 8, 10, 2003. Lost Childhood, music by Janice Hamer, libretto by Mary Azrael, based on the Holocaust memoir by Yehuda Nir. B’nai Israel, The Village Temple. 33 East 12th Street.

•  First Chance – May, 17,20, 2003. To Scratch an Angel, music by Ari Frankel, music and libretto by Ari Frankel. Based on the final day in the life of Primo Levi. In association with the Center Primo Levi at the Center for Jewish History, New York.

•  On the Road – June 21, 2003. The Bridge of San Luis Rey, music and libretto by Paula Kimper, based on the novel by Thornton Wilder. In association with the 1794 Meeting House History, New Salem, Mass.

•  On the Road – June 26, 2003. Pillars of Fort Greene Park – Walt Whitman, Marianne Moore, Richard Wright, an evening of music, poetry, prose, and history. In association with the Fort Greene Park Conservancy and the Walt Whitman Project, in Fort Greene Park, 6-9:30 PM. Free and open to the public.
